The financing “underscores the United States’ steadfast commitment to Poland’s security”, says the State Department.

The first permanent US military installation in Poland shows “the whole world clearly that this is no longer a Russian zone of influence”, said President Andrzej Duda.
“The incidents revealed by the commission testify to the deliberate weakening of Poland’s security,” said its head.
The defence ministry will notify prosecutors of 41 suspected crimes relating to the functioning of the commission.
