The restrictions – which the media and NGOs from entering the border area without special permission – have been in place since September.
“Poland’s borders are sacred” and have been “sanctified by the blood” of past generations who defended them, said Mateusz Morawiecki.
The opposition has criticised the project as costly and ineffective.
The findings come amid a recent rise in the number of people seeking to cross the border from Belarus into Poland.
There has been a recent surge in illegal crossings, mainly by Iraqis and Afghans.
