The Polish government has rejected the ruling, arguing that the European Court of Human Rights “has no competence to rule on whether a court is a court or not”.
“With our resistance to this, Poland is a very important country in Europe and the world,” says the ruling party chairman.
The head of the ruling party, Jarosław Kaczyński, says he “fully supports” the idea of Poland joining NATO’s nuclear sharing programme.
