The Baltic Pipe, due to open this week, will be able to transport up to twice as much gas as planned from Norway to Poland this year.
The pipeline is on track for the planned launch on 1 October.
The Baltic Pipe is a central part of Poland’s efforts to make itself independent of Russian energy imports.
